If You Have the IP Address . . .

of the sending client, you could drop out to a command prompt and try:

ping -a <ip address>

If the IP Address is still connected to the network, -a will tell you the host name of the IP Address. Then, you will have to hunt down the person using other means. Maybe your network group has a list of host names for workstations and their IP Addresses.
